Meet Your Teacher
Byron de Marsé
For years, Byron has been challenging the norms of modern yoga, pushing the work beyond surface-level practice. He sees what’s possible before it exists and sets direction with courage and conviction.
Raised on a large ranch in Oklahoma, Byron later moved to California, where he was first introduced to yoga — a practice that resonated with both his athletic background and his deeply curious nature.
With well over 10,000 hours of teaching and facilitation experience around the world, his teaching journey began in Santa Monica at the world-renowned Bryan Kest Power Yoga studio and Equinox. After moving to Bali, Byron began teaching at The Yoga Barn, where his classes quickly became some of the most sought after on the island.
In 2022, Byron developed Empowerment Yoga — a unique practice rooted in truth and freedom of expression. That philosophy now lives at the heart of The IN Movement and continues to evolve through his daily devotion to the craft of practice, teaching, and self-study.
