Most yoga teacher trainings will give you a certificate. Far fewer will give you a teacher.

This is a flagship 200-hour training built around a simple idea: when you walk out the door at the end of three weeks, you should be able to step onto a mat, in front of a real room of real people, and teach. Not perform. Not recite. Teach.

For twenty-three days in Ubud, you’ll work with Paul Teodo and Kimberley Utama — two senior teachers with decades of practice and thousands of trainees between them. You’ll move through asana every morning. You’ll study anatomy with a kinesiologist who knows what’s actually happening under the skin. You’ll sit with philosophy, with the Yoga Sutras, with the eight limbs, with the questions that don’t have neat answers. You’ll cue, sequence, adjust, and stand at the front of the room until your voice stops shaking and starts sounding like yours.

This is rigorous, comprehensive, and built to hold up in the real world. It’s also held in a place that lets the work land — the IN Movement studio in Nyuh Kuning, Ubud, surrounded by rice fields and the kind of quiet that makes deep practice possible.

Who This Training Is For

  • You want to teach yoga professionally — full-time, part-time, or as part of a wider career
  • You've been practicing for a while and you're ready to understand what you've been doing
  • You want a comprehensive Yoga Alliance certification, not a weekend course with a stamp
  • You're committed to twenty-three days of focused work, not a soft retreat with a certificate at the end
  • You want to teach from real understanding — not memorized cues

What Students Say

“"After more than a decade as a personal trainer and long-time yoga practitioner, I didn't believe I needed a formal training to deepen my practice. I was wrong — in the best possible way. I'm leaving with confidence in my sequencing, a far deeper understanding of the practice, and — unexpectedly — a genuine excitement to teach. This wasn't just a certification. It was a recalibration."”

Mark Turniseed Mark Turniseed

“"It allowed me to deepen my practice, explore myself more deeply, and connect with a supportive global community. Since completing the training, I've been teaching and felt ready to step into it from the start."”

Mathilda Arnadaut Mathilda Arnadaut

“"I would recommend this training to everyone who values a systematic and structured approach to learning, who is interested in developing their leadership skills beyond yoga, and to discover their authentic self-expression. This training attracts individuals who value excellence, creativity and leadership."”

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need to be an experienced practitioner to enroll?

No prior teaching experience is required, but you should have a consistent personal practice. Most students arrive with one to several years of regular practice. If you’re unsure whether you’re ready, contact us — we’d rather have an honest conversation than have you arrive underprepared.

What level of yoga is taught?

The training is rooted in vinyasa and power yoga, with elements of Yin, Hatha, and meditation woven throughout. The asana practice is strong and physically demanding — you should be comfortable with regular vinyasa flow before arriving.

Is this Yoga Alliance accredited?

Yes. This is a 200-hour Yoga Alliance–registered training. On completion, you’re eligible to register with Yoga Alliance as RYT 200 and teach yoga professionally worldwide.

What's included in the price?

200 contact hours, all training materials, daily breakfast and lunch on training days, daily yoga and meditation at the studio, and Yoga Alliance certification on completion. Books are an estimated additional USD 120. Accommodation and flights are not included.

Do you help with accommodation and visas?

We send a curated list of recommended accommodations for all budgets — many within walking distance of the studio — once you’ve registered. We also provide a list of agencies that can help with visa documentation if needed.

Can I pay in installments?

Yes. You can reserve your spot with a USD 1,000 deposit, with the balance due 30 days before the training begins on July 6, 2026. Paying in full at registration saves you USD 150.

What's the refund policy?

Deposits are non-refundable but transferable to a future training within one year of the original training date. For full payments: cancellations more than 30 days before the start date are refunded minus a USD 1,000 fee. Cancellations within 30 days of the start date are refunded minus a USD 1,500 fee. Partial attendance does not qualify for a refund. In the case of a verified medical emergency, missed days can be made up in a future training.

What if I have an injury?

Get in touch before registering. With a kinesiologist and physiotherapist on the teaching team, we can usually accommodate working students — but we want to know what we’re working with before you arrive.
