This signature Talia Sutra-LAAIC class is an all encompassing, sattva-based hybrid of the Ghoș lineage and the aṣṭāṅga vinyasa system, suitable for intermediate students.

Talia’s classes provide strong, crystal-clear verbal cues with an emphasis on cultivating inner stillness and conscious intelligence using bandha, gaze and breath-awarenessas keys.

Another trademark of a Talia Sutra LAAIC class is the methodical activation of the spine in all five directions: forward, back, lateral, twist and flexion.

Mantra, prāṇāyāma, and deep relaxation in śavāsana are integral parts of the experience. Together, we will explore the stillness within movement and discover spaciousness and depth both inside and out, utilizing tools such as breath awareness, count, gaze, and energetic locks.

The class also features meditation, āsana, demonstrations, and guided relaxation.

2 hours – Open-level, yet designed for practitioners with some prior yoga experience. Modifications and progressions are offered, while the pace and content are best suited for those who already have an established practice.

Meet Your Teacher

Talia Peretz

Talia Peretz was born by the beautiful Sea of Galilee in Tiberius, Israel on February 19th 1988 to a kind, loving and spiritual Mizrahi-Jewish family. She was fascinated by her family’s devotional traditions- such as daily prayer, the recitation of the Book of Psalms and the practices of fasts from food and talk. She had endless philosophical conversations with her (luckily- very willing) parents and with many rabbis of different traditions from a very young age. She was also introduced to Yogic practices at age six by her mother, who integrated yoga into her life after being diagnosed with lymphoma (which she beat!). Talia moved to the United States right before starting the fifth grade. She lived in New York City until the age of 27 and still feels a New Yorker at heart. At age eleven, Talia of her own accord stopped eating animals and this decision shaped her ethical and spiritual development since.

With training in physical disciplines spanning nearly three decades, she has learned impeccable skill, precision and technique from masters of many practices and lineages. She started teaching aged 21 at Yoga to the People in NYC, where she had the pleasure reaching thousands of people weekly, right from the start. Talia intuitively gave herself the name Sutra as a kind of “self initiation” at the age of 22, at the start of her yoga teaching journey. The name Sutra now acts as a reminder to remain clear, concise and true in her words and actions.

Her haṭha yoga teachings are mostly based upon the Ghoṣ lineage, which she has been studying and teaching consistently for 15 years. Equally, Talia teaches from her own insight and knowing and has developed her own methods in the fields of backbending, inversions, mental and physical flexibility and bandha application which she has shared with thousands of her students worldwide.

Talia founded the yoga school Love and And All is Coming in 2018 after coining the phrase and popularizing it for nearly a decade prior to her half a million followers on social media. She is very grateful to teach people of all ages and backgrounds haṭha yoga, yoga philosophy, meditation, mantra and non-dual philosophy. She currently lives in Lisbon, Portugal with her husband, artist Ezra Baderman and their two children Akiva and Elisheva. She practices, studies and teaches daily. She is eternally grateful to all her teachers over the years.
