The power of pause can be the most powerful step forward — what if the boldest move is simply to stop?

This short episode is a gentle invitation to pause with intention. It announces a brief break and a coming name change to The In Movement Podcast, all framed as part of a larger practice: letting ideas integrate instead of rushing to the next thing.

You’ll hear a simple reflection on why rest matters, how stepping back can create space for meaning, and a spoken passage on forgiveness, surrender, and inner strength that lingers long after the audio ends. If you’re tired of constant input and craving a more grounded way to grow, this one asks you to breathe, soften, and let it land—so the next chapter can begin clear and true.

Hello, everyone, and welcome to the podcast. My name is Michael Henry, and today's going to be a short announcement, actually not really full episode. I've been sick for a few weeks. He might be able to tell from my voice feels a little hoarse deep, deep down in there.

So it's been really difficult to actually kind of talk on the microphone for quite a while. So I took this opportunity to take a break from the podcast. So for the next month, over the holidays, basically up until the January, mid January, we're not going to have any podcast episodes released, which will give us a time to spend with family.

Byron's actually visiting in the US and I'll be visiting in Canada. And then we're all going to be coming back together in January and we'll continue the podcast sharing. And we're also going to continue to tease out and announce that the podcast is going to be changing. My voice sounds so funny, I'm just going to ignore it. And the podcast name is going to be changing. We kind of tease it out a few times. We're going to be calling it the In Movement podcast. And this lines up with our new

brand and studio that we're building in Bali in the new Kooning area. So that's coming soon and really excited about that. So a lot of changes are coming forward and we're just giving ourselves some space to allow that to integrate into change and to grow.

I will read a little blurb about us as a, let's say, brand and what we're kind of moving for. But ultimately, the in movement is a collective of change makers responding to growing need in the yoga world to restore ancient practices and create transformative experiences that center around genuine actionable self growth. So this is our goal, this is our mission, and it's going to extend not just through the podcast, but in person experiences in Poly, as we've

been doing in the past, and we'll continue to do so moving forward. So just as sending that announcement out so that we're aware of these changes moving forward, of course, we have plenty of episodes from the past several years that if you haven't listened to them all, you can always go back and listen to some of the more unique ones. Otherwise, yeah, you can take a break from podcasts as well. But you know, even the last two episodes that we had, we spoke a lot about actually integration

and allowing time for actually things to sit in and to settle, to allow things to actually integrate into your mind and integrate into your life and your lifestyle versus just consuming and consuming more information, more podcasts.

So this is a great opportunity to do that. And whether you're going to be looking into some podcasts to listen to, I actually have something here that I was going to read to send you on your way. It comes from the book called Live the Life of Empowerment from Keitha Bates, who is someone that we look up to a lot and it comes into our empowerment trainings to talk about empowerment.

So I just flipped the page and turn to this and I'm going to read it for you. Everyone is creating and what you are creating is in your hands to live. Truth is the learning of forgiveness of you. Forgiveness releases the struggle of pain in being.

You are not here to suffer, but to free into light. Forgiveness allows you to accept all that you are and this sets you free from the pain of suffering. Surrendering to inner life brings the meaning you are looking for. For here you accept truth and this is a step to empowerment. Opening keeps you following the path that is right for you. Pain is a transitionary feeling.

With resolve it will disperse and when you feel through it, you become fearless. Pain is only as frightening as you believe it to be. With belief and strength you can disperse its effect on you. Everyone is creating and what you are creating is in your hands.

To not forget and to strengthen the will of yourself moves you to brightness. So something to sit with even for myself. But otherwise, I hope you guys have a great next month. You can still reach out to us, of course, on Instagram. That's the best way to go.

If you have questions by any means or if you have ideas for podcasts, we always love that as well. Otherwise, take care and we will see you in the new year.
