Human Design is having a moment, and Michael interviews Tsamara Fahrana to explore what it actually is.
They each share a brief definition of what human design is and the impact it has on our lives. Tsamara dives into how empowering it can be to learn about your human design in order to live your life with more clarity, empathy, and understanding. What she calls a “permission slip,” human design allows one to understand how and why they act, say, and feel the way they do.
Tsamara walks Michael through key traits of the 5 human design types and what the highs and potential struggles are for each of these types.
Tsamara also talks about how human design blends science and spirituality in a really unique way. She elaborates on the choice and free will that each person has to live their best and most authentic life. Each one of us is incredibly unique and human design is one way to live in alignment with our life.
Michael touches how it may be overwhelming to dive into your human design, but even small steps can give you a better idea to learn about the way you operate. He shares a bit about being a generator himself and how he interacts with friends who have other human designs.
Unsure what your human design is? Use this link below for more context as you are listening through this very unique and informative episode!

It makes decisions much more easier because sometimes they just over think what happens if this. And then like, oh my God, I'm going to regret this or not or like there's a lot of fear coming into the decision, but if I trust and lean more into my gut feeling it's like the universe provides, it makes it super easy.
Yeah. Yeah. It's kind of like I like this metaphor when what cards with regards to like flow of life if you're kind of in a river and you're trying to I don't know, like swim to the sides of the the river and try to like, pull yourself to go in the opposite direction or two more to Veer, more laughter to Veer more.
Right? And you're working really hard to do that but the revers just kind of trying to flow you through. And you're just spending so much energy and it's frustrating and all this stuff to be able to try to move in these opposite directions.
What instead, if you just understand that the rivers flowing, and you may not necessarily know exactly where it's going, but you know that this river flowing is actually what you need to do and you may have a little bit of influence to be able to say okay. Maybe a little bit to the left a little bit to the right, but instead of fighting the flow of the river, just let it flow. And then, yeah, maybe there's little moments where we can influence it, but if you try to,
if you try to resist too much of the river or who you are, or what's, what your, what your makeup is 10, it just makes life more difficult. Yeah. So if you understand where the rivers going or where it's meant to go, then just jump in the river and, you know, float.

Welcome to our podcast. Alright welcome back to the going pro yoga podcast, Michael here and we have a special guest today Samara that I say that, right? So we are all right, what the tea? Yes, Zacchaeus Island, very cool.
Samaras joining us today and tomorrow is actually an alumni from the elements of Power. Yoga 2019 training with pollen Byron. And she's been doing a lot of exciting things over the last few years and we wanted to have her on the podcast to talk about some of those amazing things.
Some of those things being meditation is something she's died. A lot more into or do a lot more intense, as well as human design which may or may not be new for you listening, but it's super exciting and we're going to kind of unfold that a little Bit just to kind of talk about it from, you know, basic surface level. So you can kind of get an understanding of it because, I mean, not topic.
You can go quite quite deep and it's really exciting that we have her here with us to be able to talk about that and to kind of dive into it. So, yeah, without further Ado Samara, I would love for you to introduce yourself to the podcast to the audience and just yeah, tell us a little bit more about yourself. Yeah, thank you Michael.
Thank you for having me in the podcast. Hi, everyone. My name is Tamara and I am. Asian from Jakarta. And now I've been based in Bali for the past one year and I've been loving it so far. And the reason why I'm here is I feel in my journey.
There's a lot of imbalance that needs balancing and transformation and growth and what led me to do the 2019. Yoga teacher training with Paul and Byron was that, I was experiencing, chronic anxiety, and depression. In 2018, while I was working in corporate and it was a consulting job that I really wanted to do, and I love doing it. I love the people, but I had this immense stress that I was waking up with tears and panic.
I was crying a lot of the times just not knowing who I was, or understanding my sense of stress and my And told me, like, you should try yoga and yoga barn. And I knew nothing about who bowed before. Nothing about yoga yoga, Barn.
So, I went, I fell in love with the classes and experience, and that is where the transformative growth and journey. Came by understanding, oh my body has a lot of these emotions toward and processing it through that. And during the Yoga teacher training.
I was introduced to meditation and through meditation in the mornings, I think we did like an hour, journaling meditation before early breakfast and I never knew that I could notice and witness my thoughts and the silence between the thoughts, and, yeah, it's been a amazing journey since then.
I started sharing meditation more on my podcasts, on my socials, and I dived into human design a little bit more after. So now it's been two years. I'm learning about humans. And now I coach it, I help people to understand the human design, help them Empower themselves by using human design in the daily basis. So, yeah, it's a little bit about my story and what I do. Cool.
Yeah. So what is human design? Hmm. Good question. Human design for me is a system. It is a blueprint of framework so that we can understand our self on multiple levels. So consciously Subconsciously, it helps us be aware of.
You know, the things that we are not sure why we are. Like that helps us, make decisions helps us Empower ourselves to live in a more easy State and maximize their potential. Because when I mention it's like a blueprint, we all have these, like energetical ways that are so unique frequency wise and when we don't know this, we do a lot of let's say, trial and errors and Frustrated angry disappointed in our life and human design helps us like navigate through life in a more successful way.
That's what it is for me. Yeah, that's cool. And that's basically how I viewed it. You said it way more eloquently but I will say it. But basically yeah you get to learn a little bit more about yourself and how you operate so that you don't resist ways in which like you don't have this like inner resistance and you realize like, oh, this is part of who I am.
And if you kind of Allow yourself to kind of flow in the direction of understanding parts of who you are, and just gets a bit easier. Yeah, that's basically in the simplest way. That's what I would have said, what? You said it way better than me.
Yeah. But that's the way I view it. Like knowing that I'm a generator, which we'll talk about each element at some point, but knowing that, I'm a generator, and I'm sacral defined and all this stuff, like it gives me information to understand how to operate in the world around me. Hmm and trusting certain elements of something that was a part of me that I didn't really understand. Yeah.
And this kind of gives reason or Our understanding to those elements and then it's almost like it allows you to, it gives you permission to like step into it a little bit more and own it. And be like oh cool. Like I'm going if this is part of who I am. I'm gonna I'm just gonna surrender to it or I'm going to move into that and it just makes life a little bit easier. Exactly.
And a lot of my clients, what I hear what they say, it's like a permission slip to be themselves nice because they play a lot of roles in their life, like, being a wife or partner, husband daughter, Son and, you know, just being corporate or business and you have all these different labels, right?
But who were you before, all of that happened all of the conditioning as you were growing up, the culture, you're in Social. So, whatever you're consuming, we were born with the way we operate uniquely, and it allows them to remember themselves in a sense like, oh yeah, that's really my true unique nature and sometimes we forget that when you know, we get busy sometimes in our daily life.
Yeah, right. So I'm going to throw out some like common words, just to see if we can kind of connect a little bit more with the audience, I'm like, what this topic is about? Yeah, would you say that this is kind of like personality type traits?
It could be, he's on the different part. With the personality tapes that treats that we know like mbti Myers Briggs is that Myer Myers Brigg is more like you put in your own answers online or with whatever way and that's self registered. A human design uses.
Our birth date hour and minute country and location which doesn't change throughout our life. So that blueprint makes it more for me more solid like consistent. It's consistent. Yeah but because with the Myers big, for example, when I was in high school, I did it. And I was an extrovert.
And now if I did it again, I'm an introvert. So I could change is malleable but the human design in itself is a personality trait that you have when you are born. And also from your parents until 14 Generations before you owe you guys like you know when we have our physical expect appearance or emotional personality, that's similar to our parents or grandparents and their these genetic codes that are imprinted and you can explore and learn more even in
the human design landscape even like the generational trauma, you can kind of dive in there, but yeah, yeah, we're good. You go Jakarta, that will lease will lose them. So yeah, personality, that was the way I was imagining it took a personality, not even a test, just a personality information about your personality. Yeah.
But then I think about the Myers-Briggs and all these other types of personality tests and those things can fluctuate and change because you can kind of change your personality. Yeah, in some ways but I guess the elements of human design is based off of the birthday and stuff like that which doesn't change. And therefore, once you know your blueprint or, you know, your chart or whatever it is, Like that's it. And the more you learn that, the more you learn more about yourself that neatly doesn't
change, and then, yeah, because we can go so far into it. We won't necessarily do that right now, but I think it's pretty cool. So, maybe what we can do now is talk a little bit, like, about the different types. Yeah. Of the human design because I know there's maybe like five or six.
I don't know. Yeah. So there is four main types, but it has evolved into five and these Types is based on how the energy within us operates and how it affects the energy outside, like what we give outside, like, our auric Fields basically.
So these four to five types. There's the generator, which me and Michael are, and there is a manifest, ER, and a combination or assimilation between a Manifesto and the generator is the manifesting generator, okay? And then the forest is the projector, and the fifth is the reflector.
So, these are the five times, okay? So let's break down one. Time a little bit. Yeah. So, we're both generators. Yes. Yeah. Team generator generator is one of the most common ones, right? Yeah. It's like, I don't know more than 50% of the population. It's I think it's 37 percent would come combined with the manifesting generator.
It's like, more than 50. Okay. Yeah, so yeah a lot of people are generators. So what is a generator? Basically generators are people who are very passionate in what they want to do, rather than what they should do and The way to know if they're doing what they want to do is a feeling of satisfaction and if they're following what they should do based on their mind or what other people are saying, there's a sense of frustration.
So generally this is the generator type and in the auric field they are open and developing so that energy is like warm. It's like come to us and then we're very open. But again, if the person is more in the frustration state, so everything in human design has like a binary state. Make this a high and a low or in between. And when your load, then you're like, holding back your, your energy, and people don't really want to be connected to you, in that sense.
So that's a generator in a nutshell, mmm, okay. And I'll just talk a little bit about myself because as a generator, I only know so much about my church because I was read to me. There's all these other little designs in the end. I just don't like, I don't know what any of this stuff means. Yes, but what I was told our least what I read was that I needed strongly too early.
Maybe it was more specific to my generator because I was sick well-defined, which I'm sure we won't get into that too much, but it was that I needed to trust my intuition and my gut feeling. Yes. And my ability and I think it read in the chart that I needed to use the Sounds in my body. Hmm.
Exactly. Like you just did. Yeah. So if I'm if I'm presented with a question or an opportunity or something that I need to make a decision on, I would I don't do this anymore but I was very Muffled, the beginning, I would basically, like just go.
Hmm. I'd make a noise and the noise would either be for like, yes, mmm, or I'm not sure. And if I just trust that noise in within me like that intuition, then usually, it gave me more of like, oh, that's truly what I should do, or want to do.
Yeah. And I was actually really insightful because, sometimes not even sometimes, a lot of times, people will just obliged to the environment or the question or the things around. Because they want to people, please or the circumstances. And obviously there's room for that. But like, truly understanding what you want sometimes is, is lost on people.
Yeah, so that was actually really helpful when I learned about human design and being a generator with this. Sacred Affinity. It was like, oh my intuition is strong and I can like make these decisions by just literally trusting myself. Yes.
Which was super cool. It's empowering right, super empowering. Yeah. Right. So yeah, I just wanted to throw that in there because I know a little bit about Being a generator. So, you know, want to contribute to the podcasting. Yeah, yeah.
And just to unpack, what Michael was saying, thank you for sharing that, it's what we call it human design, the strategy and inner Authority. So for each type, there is a strategy for the generator, it's to respond and that's why there's that feeling of the hmm, huh?
That's where responding to external things and usually for generators, it's better closed-ended questions rather than open-ended. So it's like rather than what do you want to eat? It's more. Like do you want to eat Western or Eastern, right?
Right? Hot or cold and it's easier for a body to respond like yes, no, something like that, right? And the inner Authority, when you say sake will Define just to zoom back a little bit is that human design is also based on the chakra system. But if your yoga teacher, you know, your yoga or meditation, you know, there are seven main chakras but in human design it's evolved into 9 and each of these centers can be either defined as what Michael has mentioned which
is the sacral being active constantly and it could Be undefined, which is white. So if you have your chart, by the way, you can also download it free and certain softwares and you can have your charts while you're listening to this or later. And that gives us our way of making decisions. This is what inner Authority means. So for Michael, with a sequel defined, you follow your intuition, your excitement, for your, your body. Because that's the consistent
way to make decisions and for other types, or even for a generator, it's not always sacral. You can be emotionally. Define emotional solar plexus but that's going too much into it. Will talk about later and continue with the types.
Yeah, yeah, that's a good idea because there's so many things that we can go for there. So, yeah. So we talked about generator one of the more common types and then there's a combo split from there which is manifesting generator. Yeah.
You think that's the best place to go next. Yeah, so we can talk about manifested in the manifesting generator. Cool. So talk about manifest. ER yes. So many factors are the type of people who had a lot of creative ideas. If they're resting, well, Well, and they initiate when they have a lot of power.
But it's cyclical because they have what is called an undefined sacral so they don't have the sustainable energy to always push through like a generator. For example, and the signature feeling for manifest errs is a sense of peace.
And the lower frequency is a sense of anger. So combining the generator and the Manifest are assimilated. There is the manifesting generator and the manifesting generators are usually very multi passionate. They have A lot of interest they want to do things efficiently and quick, they like to impact people.
They often maybe not finished the things that they want to do because of their excitement. And to know when manifesting generators are in line, they are feeling satisfied peaceful and within their own definition of what satisfied and peaceful is.
And in the lower frequency it's the feeling of anger and frustration because maybe people are not really listening to them or they don't have the independence to do what they want to do. And I think the manifesting generators bring a lot of energy and excitement to the table.
Okay, yeah. Well, so what's coming up for me right now is if you're listening to this and you don't know what you are, maybe pause the episode and then I don't know what, where's a good place to go. Just type in my human design or something like this and they'll probably be something that you can just type in your information.
Yeah. So I have a website that I could recommend. It's the one of the source one. It's called Jovian archive.com and you can get your free chart without Putting your email in so just put your name birth details and if you don't know your birth hour or minute you can use 12 p.m. or you can ask a family member, if they know approximately of the hour and you can also just try to put in different hours or numbers if you're not sure.
And see how much it changes because certain degrees of the human design is okay to see by 12 p.m. or just roughly your breath our which is the type what we are. Discussing we discuss a little bit about the strategy and inner Authority that is okay but I think deeper into it it needs the precise hour and minute right.
Right. Yeah. What's a lot of people don't know. It took me awhile, I'd ask my mom like four times. Yeah, she found my birth plate. I had a birth plate and it wrote the time on it. So yeah, I mean, I think would be cool to continue listening to this episode particularly if you know who you are, or you know what your human design is because then you can relate a little bit.
More to the language in which we're speaking to. So if you already know who you are, then great so you can keep rolling but if you don't I will have the link in the show notes and you can kind of just pull that up. Okay, we're back. It started to rain.
So we just had to close the door for a second. So, yeah, I was just saying that, ideally knowing what you are will be helpful with this episode. So if you don't, you can go to that website and let me check that out in the show notes. So, we've talked about the generator, talk about the Manifest, sure, talked about the manifesting generator, And manifest your how popular, not popular. How common are they, which is a manifest others are around 8 to 9% of the population.
Okay. So that's not very much. No. Oh, and that's why it's empowering for people who are in the lower or the smaller population because they feel understood when most of their lives, they feel misunderstood. And they have to follow like the herd and, you know, work sustainable hours and work in a certain way, 925, or even more. and that's where the liberating part of human design is because maybe you can't change your job right away, maybe you don't want to or that's completely fine,
but you know, how to navigate your way around it because you're, you know, you're Energetically operation, you know? Yeah, that's a powerful bit. That's cool. And then manifesting generators are little bit more comment. Yeah.
Yeah. Like the generators I'm not sure about the actual number right now on the top of my head but I think generators and manifesting generators together are around 70%. Oh sure. Yeah. Yeah, that's a lot. Yeah, cool. All right and then we have the the rare types. Yes.
So let's talk about the I think it's Projectors. The next one in line. Let's just say there's a projector and the reflector right so I love projectors. I love all the types but I find that projectors are very wise beings their fairy into the well-being of themselves and other people they can see things from the bird eyes point of view strategically. They're really like hmm.
They have this innate way to help people, sometimes one-on-one, or with whatever their gift is, and they really need inside of them, whether they admit it or not is recognition and to be understood as they are, and even their strategy is called wait for invitation or to attract invitation, which means it's not like they have to be passive and do nothing but it's really knowing what they're good at doing what they love to do. And they share it with so much
love and without expectation that That when people invite them into a certain commitment, let's say a relationship a job moving. They find that it's much easier, rather than they have to put themselves out and usually when they feel great, it's a sense of successful being successful and the lower frequency is feeling better.
Usually it's better because people don't see them as they are or they're projecting some other version of themselves to be loved and understood by. They're people and I think projectors are more than manifest sirs there.
Like less than 20% or something like that will correct. And the last is reflectors and their 1% of the population 1%, mmm. Dang, I do like three of them. So you are blessed to be around a lot of reflectors. Yeah, the way that they talk about being a reflector, they say that it's difficult. Mmm.
I don't know if that, I don't know much about them. Besides, besides that, they reflect the energy of the person that they're with, or the Energy around them to some effect. Yeah, it was actually really nice because if I'm in a great mood, it's so fun to be hanging out with a reflector because then they're like reflecting that back to me.
Yeah. But anyhow, I'll let you deconstruct a reflector as well. There are the rare type. So if you are a reflector congratulations. Yeah, the 1%. Yeah, we honor you reflectors because the reflectors are here too. Feel and navigate and to know which environment and people are good and healthy for them, they're very wise because that nature of absorbing the information around them.
For example, someone's feeling happy or someone's not feeling pretty good like they're feeling sad or whatever unhealthy and they could absorb and have that Alchemy to sense that they can be really wise and helpful but they make great coaches, space holders. But I think the the thing about being Alan just that then you have so much sensory input and you need to know your boundaries and know when to rest and also even in the strategy you have to wait for your advice to wait for
a lunar cycle or around one month or 28 days to make a big decisions. Not like just whether I want to eat or something, right? But it's whether I want to, I don't know, go on a trip or make an investment. It's waiting to feel all the Information or like when we have the new moon and the full moon, there's more illumination towards the information to make a better decision, right?
And it's like, you need to collect it all throughout a period of time and then be patient with it. And then once you get, you kind of see the whole cycle, if you will, then it's that's when their best to make a decision.
Exactly as opposed to like a generator for example, which would be more. So, making a decision in that instinctive mode. But right, exactly. And with a reflector that I think that's what is challenging when this world is pressuring them.
To make quick decisions. Yay, and that's why the lower frequency for them is Disappointment because they make Rush decisions when they need to take time and their space and to talk to people and here and reflect back what it is.
They really want and the positive or the more higher frequency is feeling surprise or delighted, which is like being super open to life as it is day at a time and see what are the treasures that comes up in the day and yeah.
I guess that is, you know all the surface levels of the types and for each side just like, you know, Zodiacs you can be, for example, I'm a Scorpio son. Like I'm born in November and then for each Scorpio, it could be a different type, you know, it's not very clear cut that everyone is exactly the same and that's where the chakras, there's the itching gate and that's like the Chinese divination system that's in human design. That helps bring that uniqueness
front. All of these things that we just mentioned right but you can see if you're listening and you already know your type notice, if it makes you feel certain way, if it reflects to you, if you resonate to it if you want to dive deeper into it. Yeah.
Yeah that's cool. And especially because if you're not sure about your date or your time exactly. And you kind of just threw in a random time, it might not be if you don't resonate strongly with maybe the type that you are, is it? Possible that they need might need to try. Another time.
Is that what you kind of were referring to before, as if they put in a time that they're like, I think I was born around 2:00 but I don't know if it was in the morning or the afternoon. Hmm. And then I put it one and they're like I don't know if I resonate with being a generator or whatever and then they try the other one.
I mean I'm sure wouldn't be that extreme 12 hours difference. But yeah, I just can't imagine that for some people. It's very difficult to know the exact time. So how did maybe this is kind of taking a side step. I like, how would someone Navigate that like what would you say to someone if they just don't know their time you said to choose 12 p.m. correct? So yeah.
And then just maybe reiterate that one more time. I think that's really important. Yeah. If you don't know your birth our use 12 p.m. and you can also experiment if you have a gauge between like oh it's 2 a.m. or 12 p.m. then, you can put both of those numbers and put that chart side by side and see how much it's different.
Because usually the three important parts which is the time and our Authority and strategy. Won't change as much. That's my experience so far with two years of reading people. Okay? And it's a common common problem. I think this is one of the downsides of human design compared to other things is that you need your your specific time time and minute to make it really into its full potential, right? So yeah, if you're looking at it from like a surface level, kind of like we're talking about and
you just kind of want to know like I want to know which of the top five types you are than yeah. You have a little bit more leeway to be able to just, you know, like she said, figure that out, which is cool. Yeah, So this is awesome very helpful.
I'm learning a little bit more about other types, which is great because I have friends that I know are projectors and reflectors and stuff like that, and my partner, she's a manifesting generator. You know, I think Byron is a manifest. ER, I think he said that to me at a faster. Paul is a generator.
Yes, it is a Workhorse as well and the other thing that's interesting and I'm sure we can talk about it a little bit. We'll see how far, what happens when we unpack this but is this the the definity or the The definite not deficient definition. When something is defined, which is maybe the same thing. But whenever you get your birth chart, if you've already done this, I assume you've done this.
If you haven't, you'll have a like a little bit of a chart and the chart is going to have sections and there's going to be lots of information on there and you're gonna probably be like, I don't know what any of this means.
But at the very least, maybe we can give some reason to understanding why some things are colored and other things are not colored. We're like, you know, white or or if it's the same color every time, I think it's slightly different. I think it's just me.
The software and it just matters if it's colored in or not colored. And whether if it's white, do you see that number is colored, or it's completely white with no number colored. So there's like three main differences Ergo. So maybe we can unpack that for people. Yeah.
Because I know that I'm sick. Well-defined and spleen defined and everything else is open. Interesting. Yeah. So it's all white except for two. So what does it mean? If something is defined and something is not defined, right?
So if it's defined it, It means that there is consistent energy and access that's within us that we can always use and if it's white and means that it's undefined or it can be easily influenced by the environment around us, the content we consume and the experiences in our life and that is where often conditioning comes. And this is a huge part of human design. And conditioning is where outside influences are becoming a part of us which is, you know,
just the education. Not the things that we hear from other people. Our life experiences and when we heal, or really integrate those conditioning in the white undefined part, and sometimes it's also in the defined Parts, it helps us come closer to our true nature and blueprint.
So there is nine energy centers. So similarly with the 71 if I have that in parallel the head or the crown is the same similar, so it's not completely the same but it's similar the ajna or The third eye chakra is the same similar the throat, the same similar the heart chakra. We know in the seven human design SRE. The seven meditation.
Chakras is split into two here in human design ever. So the one in the center is called G or identity which is like gravity. It's a place for love and it's split into two and there's the will or heart it's like on the chart right? And below the middle and if you go down usually we have the solar plexus and Solar plexus is divided into two, which Michael mentioned in the left, is the spleen and on the right is the emotional solar plexus and then there's the sacral and second to bottom and the bottom is the
root, but the root means something different. So you everyone will have this nine energy centers, you'll see numbers in it and it's always the same. It's just whether it's colored in or not and that's where we can see the energy from within us, where is our strength, where can we heal and improve and help other people?
Actually through these centers. Yeah, okay, so let me see if I understand. So the areas that are defined or colored in is where we is our strength. Is that right? I think both, even the undefined ones can be our strength if we know what it means and the nature of it. Okay?
So naturally, speaking, the ones that are defined or kind of maybe like our strength Without Really Trying is that yeah, is that openly? Looking at it? And then the ones that are not defined or white, there are more open for influence. Exactly to the outside world.
Yes. However, at the same time, I feel like I heard and you kind of somewhat mentioned it is that with the ones that are opened at there's more potential for more hmm where you can expand Beyond. So they can be very powerful and they can be key strengths but at the same time they can also be influenced and Addition in ways that might not be so powerful as to say is that, is that true? Yes, because if you are reflect their, for example, all of your chart is going to be white and
it doesn't mean that you don't have internal strength, it's just that you are easily influenced by the environment and you can use that to your advantage if you know how it operates. And otherwise if not, that's where a lot of the challenges of the reflectors come in this, the stays. Yeah, right.
Okay, cool. So this kind of circles back to the beginning of the podcast of saying, like when You start to understand a little bit more about your own chart. What's defined, what's not to find, what your Authority is, what your frustrations are. Then you start to learn more about how you operate and where your strengths.
And I don't want to say weaknesses, but areas for improvement are areas in which you can influence by choice as opposed to allowing the outside world to influence for you. And then that kind of almost gives you at least.
For me, it makes me feel more empowered to say like yes, okay, cool. Now I understand this of myself What can I do? What kind of actions going to take? What kind of decisions can I make? That will help for me to fully reach my potential or fully move into a space where life just becomes a little bit more easeful, exact and more flowy.
Yeah, right. Oh, my life has been so much better and easy and flowy since I knew my human design is crazy. And like you, I also have my sacral and spleen Define and I have a root defined so I have 3 out of 9 and you have two out of nine and I used to grow up being heard that I am This word, an Indonesian is called Lobby land. That's the conditioning.
I hear in English. It means like, you don't know who you are and you keep changing who you are, and that resonates a lot to me. And I felt like I didn't know who I am, when my identity and I didn't know. How I can impact the world and I feel constantly influence and I'm very sensitive in nature and knowing my human design is so empowering because I can let go of the things that are not mine and focus on my own energetical being and trusting and leaning
into the strategy and Authority for us. It's following the response of her gut. It makes decisions much more easier because sometimes they just over, think what happens if this? And then like, oh my God, I'm going to regret this or not.
Like, there's a lot of fear coming into the decision, but if I trust and lean more into my gut feeling is like the universe provides, it makes it super easy. Yeah, yeah. It's kind of, like, I like this metaphor when what cards with regards to like, flow of life if you're kind of, in a river and you're trying to I don't know, like swim to the sides of the the river and try to like pull yourself to go in the opposite direction or two more to Veer more laughter to b.r. more. Right.
And you're working really hard to do that but the revers just kind of trying to flow you through. And you're just spending so much energy and it's frustrating and all this stuff to be able to try to move in these opposite directions one instead, if you just understand that the rivers flowing, and you may not necessarily know exactly where it's going, but you know that this river flowing is actually what you need to do and you may have a little bit of influence
to be able to say okay. Maybe a little bit to the left a little bit to the right, but instead of fighting the flow of the river, just let it flow. And then yeah, maybe those little moments where we can influence it. But if you try to, if you try to resist too much of the river or who you are, or what's, what you, what your makeup is 10, it just makes life more difficult. Yeah.
So if you understand where the rivers going or where it's meant to go, then just jump in the river and, you know, float. Yeah, just let her ride. Yeah. And I love that analogy. Thank you for sharing because I see him. Design as an experiment.
As you said you can go a little bit to the right. You can be a little bit to the left and it's a lifetime thing because the tendency when I do readings, and people realize they are so far away from their to Nature and their chart.
There is this like oh my god, what have I do been doing all my life and like there's this sense of desperation in a sense to wanting to be perfect as they are. Born to be fast because now everything is like, okay, I want to do it fast but it's a lifetime.
Remind you have your entire life to navigate through this and you learn as you go and it's not all about. I want to know exactly where that river is Flowing. But it's how can I make the moment by moment more easier than before, and that takes a little bit of knowing yourself experimenting the willingness to learn and it's okay.
Like, even I'm two years in my human design Journey right now. And sometimes I question my gut and I think that's okay. Because I've been conditioned to listen, To my mind like I studied neuro economics for my masters and it's about how to make decisions and the calculations at math calculations and our brain basically and now I'm learning completely something different that the brain doesn't make consistent like logical economical decisions.
There's emotions, there's a lot of different factors that that study didn't put in and you know, it takes time. And that's okay. Yeah. Yeah and there's so much to go I mean we're talking about it and it's probably really Maybe exciting for some of you listening and also kind of like a little bit overwhelming and you're like you're not really sure depending on if you followed along with your own chart but it can go so much deeper right like so much deeper.
Yes. So I think one of the first things to do is if you already have your chart great just start to take some of the information from this podcast and just kind of like start to understand a little bit more about yourself because I know that some people when I ask them, like, you know, your human design, they're like, oh yeah, I'm a generator.
Or oh yeah, I'm a whatever reflector or you The ones that know that there are reflector the pretty tuned into like, oh, this was so helpful. Hmm, some of the generator or manifesting generator, like it's a little bit helpful, but I feel like they don't, they don't dive into it as much.
It's totally cool. But I noticed I want to have these conversations with people. They're just, they're just like, yeah, I don't even know what it means for me. That seems to come up a lot, as opposed to like a reflector which is quite rare. They quite know, because it's like, oh, thank you for reflecting this back to me, that I know who I am a little bit more clearly.
It gives me permission. Antutu kind of be like, oh, this makes so much more sense. So, yeah, I'm trying to think of some of the questions that they were asking before but it was kind of like If I'm a generator, what does it mean?
If I'm a manifesting generate? What does it mean? And we kind of touched on all those little bits and pieces. But I think the first step is just like once you find out what you are. And you I know that there's these little things that you can read and I'm sure there's like YouTube videos and stuff what does it generate?
Was a manifesting generator understanding the core of it which is the, what is it again? The The Authority. Yes, there is the inner Authority, there's eight, and there is the strategy, which is based on the time, right? Yeah, so I think just experimenting on the inner Authority. Is a big game changer by itself, right? So there you go.
So that's where you start is. Just focusing on that and seeing what that means to you. And how that right? Resonator or may not resonate. I know. And then if you wanted to go further if you wanted to go more into it there's so much so much more you can do especially if you're looking at that chart in your like there's a lot of like numbers and things going on in here like what does it all mean and depending on the chart that you're looking at on the website
that you're using. I think you can actually like click on or like touch some of the defined or undefined. Find things and all kind of like give you a little bit more information, but the point is is it's a very overwhelming thing to kind of dive into and I say that from my experience you may feel the same way. So yeah, that's that's a thing.
Like you know, I give you permission to feel well, I mean don't ya don't don't over don't like try to figure it all out in one shot. Like the idea behind this episode was to kind of just bring a little bit more into people's awareness because it can really help people.
Yeah, I can really help you to understand more of who you are, and give you permission. In the permission slip like you mentioned to just flow of the river a little bit more easily. Mmm. And I think it's really beautiful, if someone allows himself to figure that out for themselves, and if they want to go deeper and further into it, I mean, there's plenty of opportunities to do that like yourself, right? This is what you do for people as well. Yeah, this is really cool.
Thank you. And it must be very fulfilling and enjoyable. Yeah, I love it. I love it so much and it gives me a lot of satisfaction to transmit this knowledge because it's knowledge is not mine, right? It's something that I learned.
And and I see how much it changes just the demeanor of people in my session. So I do readings there 30 minutes, 60 and 90 minutes just for readings depending on the level of depth that you want to go to. And I can see from their faces and they are that they go like you know like I can't really go out, it's a relief, it's like this, oh I'm reflected a connection back to myself and just helping them guide and navigate through that and translate this seemingly overwhelming, As you said system
into understandable pieces that you can experiment in your daily life. Gives me so much fulfillment and it's something that I'm still learning on my own. Also, I'm doing trainings with it and it feels that there's so much to learn because something that we haven't touched on is that human design is based on science and spirituality.
So there's the esoteric knowledge of the chakra system. That's one second, there's Western astrology and the third there is the Kabbalah Which is the Jewish tree of life and then there's the quantum like mechanics and the whole epigenetics, and there's a sister science to this called Gene keys and there's so many more to explore.
I have the jinkies book. Yeah. Oh my God, it's so thick. Yeah, it's so big. And it's so we're talking about overwhelm like, oh my god, when I looked at this book and it's awesome. Like when you start to dive into this Gene Keys thing from the human design. Yeah, it's again it's like giving more permission and more like Oh my God.
Aha moments. Like, it's just, it's like, literally learning about yourself like a new. Yeah, that's, yeah, that's super cool. Yeah, because I didn't, he's is based on the 64 numbers that are in the chart. It's from the eating Chinese divination system and it's more of a contemplation and energetic thing because sometimes when we read it, like the book, it's really thick. I know.
I also have it and it's it's like intellectually. We try to understand because there's three steps. There there is the kind of Shadow if you're lower frequency, there's the gift which is how you get to the third higher frequency, which is the city and intellectually.
We try to like contemplate, where am I in this state? But also it's more of a way of being and I think human design and Gene Keys. Help us remember that. It's not all in the mind, but it's the way our body is moving and making decisions in our daily life and that's what's powerful within it. When you practice and you experiment and you find that it's helpful.
We feel more successful satisfied, peaceful delighted and surprised with like just your daily life. It start to embody in you and that's where the epigenetic parts come in you and your DNA changes, right? Yeah. Yeah. And people, I don't know if a lot of people know but epigenetics talk about that a little bit.
Yeah, I'm not an expert. But basically what I know about it is that our thoughts feelings actions, you know, it has this circular influence to how our body functions and especially in the genetic level. And interestingly, there is This, if we change, our thoughts, feelings, and actions, we can also have the power to change our DNA and genetics, because we think we're always just given that.
And there's an interesting parallel, because there are 64 codons of the genes, and their 64 gates in the human design, and the teaching and the gene key. So, there's the parallel. And yeah, that's what I know about it. What do you know about epigenetics Michael? Yeah, then no yours is really probably more in depth than mine.
Mine was that it's basically letting people know that Your jeans because whenever you hear hereditary, you know, it's in your genes. People think, like, there's nothing I can do about that. And epigenetics is saying the opposite of that is, there is something you can do about it.
Yeah. And the way that I imagined it, or someone had explained it to me, it's like, there's like this little cap or like there's this little like covering all over your jeans that you can influence and it'll actually turn the switch on or off of this Gene.
And such a way that, you know, whatever it was its default setting that you got from your, you know, your family, or your parents or What have you? You can influence that to switch the switch and switch the switch. Yeah, so that it so that it's different.
Yeah. So that you can you have more control over yourself than you think. So things that are hereditary or that are more in your jeans or and you just kind of like surrendering to that it's like you don't have to you. There's ways in which you can influence that and at the very least I think just talking about this epigenetics is saying like you can you have more potential and more power than you. Think exactly right and don't don't settle for Or, you know what you think you need to
settle for especially when it comes to like health and wellness, mm2 diseases, diabetes like diabetes runs in my family, and I think, I think cancer runs in Christina's family. I can't remember. But there's, you know, these types of things that run in people's families.
They're just kind of like, oh, shit. While this is just the way it is and like, this is giving you reason to be like, no, no, it's not the way it is. It can be different. You can change it through your behavior, your thoughts and your feelings?
Yeah, yeah. And one thing that I would like to touch and give a message to Friends who are listening as that often times, we think when we have our human design and we're usually in like somewhat maybe in the lower population, or what have you don't like your human design?
I want to be something else. Why can't I change this? Does it mean that I'm like this, my entire life. There is an element of choice and Free Will. And all of this, you know, like the blueprint is to help you come back to yourself and you are beautiful and fine and uniquely. You, you don't have to be someone else. It's a permission slip again.
Again, but the way you navigated, it's, there's a choice and Free Will with your thoughts feelings and actions, and you can make it however you want. If it resonate with you you can use it. If it doesn't, you don't have to, you know.
Yeah that's great. I love that. Cool. So I think we covered most of the this stuff without going to too far. Is there anything else that you think would be hopeful that we can share for our audience based off of the conversation we've already had? Yeah I think there could be a tangent Conversation about either the profile depending on how much time we have, or the energy centers.
But I feel if you are interested in learning human design, there's so many content. There is a book that I can recommend and put it in the podcast description later because I'm not sure of the exact name. I'll put in a few books if you're interested and if you want a deeper dive reading, or even coaching, you can always contact me on my social later. Yeah, amazing.
Flicking a couple notes there. Yeah. Okay this was really helpful even for me, who knows a little bit about it. Now I feel like I've just kind of like filled in a fit of the gaps and also, just because I was so focused on my own generator and I was just like generator, I have a battery and I got to like, burn my bat.
Anyway, I know certain elements of myself. Yeah, and it's very empowering, but I'd love for other people to feel empowered as well by just learning more or at least just diving into it and being curious. And then if they want to go further going further, and I love the your passion about it. I love that you love doing this and helping people, and I'm curious before with the podcast, we talked a little bit more about like, who your audience that generally resonates with you and it's been a lot of
Indonesians, right? Yeah. So there's a lot of your clients Indonesians for human design for human design coaching. Yes I've had 12 Indonesian coaching clients doing three months sessions with me and the readings are now going. Where International which I love. Like, just this past week.
I had a client from Kazakhstan from Canada. From Spain from the u.s. from richest and places that I don't know how to pronounce and they reached through me through Instagram and it's great to share it to other people as well because my content. So when I do readings is that I send the English PDF first so that they can dive and read.
And when we do the zoom sessions, they can ask questions in a more efficient way rather than, hey, this is who you are and some more two-way conversation about Do you have a certain problem in your life that human design can help you with? How can you navigate that through the report that we're seeing because, like, when when he everyone downloads, the report is like, what is this?
It's like how I feel when I read an astrological chart I'm like, I don't get what this means like so yeah, I think the Indonesian people are more interested in what I do. I share meditations weekly on my podcast, meditate with Samara, there's on Spotify and apple podcasts and I had Paul as a guess, we talked about yoga and meditation thinking like the first 10 episodes and now there is 173 oven.
So it's where the past two years. Yeah, it's a generator part. I, if I love, it's tangible right to just make content and I find that it's very valuable to create a community of people, my age, I'm 27, or younger to know about meditation and mindfulness early on your life.
Yeah. Yeah, that's great. Great. And you're passionate about meditation and human design. And you said before that it's kind of the podcast has shifted and molded a little bit. But it's a lot of meditations as well. Alright, so there's like around 80 English meditations if you scroll and I think around 100 or not, not even 100 less than hundred Indonesian meditations. Yeah, well, that's awesome.
I love that you're sticking it to the community. Here, the culture here at this is great for the language. Thank you. Awesome, Sue. Exciting to talk to you. And to unpack some of this stuff, I kind of want to have you back and maybe talk more about individual ones. Possibly mmm.
Yes, I don't know. I don't know if that's possible or not, but I'm sure there's people being like, I want to know more. I want to know more, even though you know everyone has their own specific details for each chart. Maybe we can dive a little bit deeper, maybe we can we can talk about this later. Yes.
But we can dive more into each main human design and just, yeah, maybe give you a little bit more incentive and to possibly going even further than that. And I don't think we'll talk about the gene keys, because that would that would take. Yeah, I would take forever.
Yeah. Another, another 180 episode could probably be needed for that one. Yeah, cool, awesome. Thank you so much for all your wisdom and knowledge and sharing and story. And if people want to connect with you, what is the best way to do that? Yes, I am on Instagram.
It's under my name, I'll spell it out. It's Samara for Hannah and it's TS am a r.a.f., a hrana And to my Instagram, you'll have a link to go either to my website or to place the book or you can just direct message me as questions, share your takeaways because I would love if you share me and Michael what is your takeaway from just listening to this.
Yeah totally and we'll put just because he probably weren't writing that down whenever she was saying that will put all that in the show notes. So it's easy for you to just kind of Click through and then you can now follow on Instagram, send her a message. I'm sure she'd love that and as always, how you can connect with us, I'd going pro yoga, either on Instagram or you can send any of us a message Paul Byron or myself as always to connect ask questions or even just, you
know, feedback is always helpful. We love feedback. So yeah. Is there anything else you want to share or anything? You want to sign off on? No, I just want to say thank you for the space this year. My passion excitement, thank you for the listeners who has invested their time and energy to learn more about yourself. And hopefully there is one Back full thing or one takeaway see and just experiment with it.
You know, you don't have to go deep into human design. To see it's direct benefits just knowing you're a type and maybe one last question or reflection question to you is, if you know your type and, you know, the higher frequency just ask yourself, what does it mean to me and add more of that in your life? So, for example, as a generator, what does had his faction mean to me?
How can I add more into that in my life for a manifesting generator satisfaction? And peace. What does that mean to me? How can I edit more projectors? What does success mean to me? How can I edit more? And for reflectors, it's being delighted and surprised.
How can I add it more in my life and it's the same for the lower frequency part and just buy that and see how it can make your life a bit easier. Hopefully, amazing flow in that river, right? Mmm? Yes, yeah, cool. Awesome.
